B.A. College of Engineering and Technology (BACET), Ghutia, Jamshedpur started its journey of continuous spread of education in the academic year 2007-2008, under the aegis of the Bihar Association. Situated in Jamshedpur, in the East Singhbhum district of the Jharkhand State, the college offers 4 years degree courses in different branches of engineering.

BACET Chairman Message:-

The Bihar Association was formed with the prime objective of addressing the cultural, educational and social needs of the citizens of Jamshedpur. The first step in this direction that our Association took, was establishing an English medium school, Rajendra Vidyalay, in the city in the year 1970. It was a matter of time before the school developed into one of the best institutions of education in Jamshedpur. Armed with confidence, we have now ventured into the field of higher education and established the B A College of Engineering and Technology. Our sole purpose of establishing an engineering college in the city was to provide local students the opportunity to pursue Engineering as an academic subject and as a career. We had observed the plight of students from this region, who had to leave their homes in order to seek admission in private engineering colleges in other cities and paying exorbitant fees.
BA College of Engineering and Technology, Jamshedpur answers the ambitions of those who wish to pursue a career in Engineering. It offers quality engineering education at a reasonable fee structure. It is our mission to transform BACET into a learning place of excellence. We welcome and invite students and their parents/ guardians to use BACET as a catalyst in fulfilling their dreams.
