BMS College of Engineering was established within the year 1946 in Bangalore, followed by the later BMS Evening school of Engineering was established.
Keeping the growing demand for the technical education and keeping seeable the noble objectives of furthering the reason behind pedagogy cherished by the founders of the BMS instructional Trust,
BMS Institute of Technology was started within the year 2002 at Yelahanka, Doddaballapura highway, Bangalore.

BMSECE Chairman Message:-

Sri K Jairaj is a Former Additional Chief Secretary, Government of Karnataka & Past President AIMA.
He is a member of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) belonging to the 1976 batch of the Karnataka cadre, Jairaj recently retired as Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Karnataka.
Sri K Jairaj has a distinguished record of expertise in Infrastructure, Energy, and Urban Development. He is credited with turnarounds of the state energy sector as Managing Director, Karnataka Power Corporation Limited (KPCL); Managing Director of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC); Managing Director; State Industries Corporation (KSIDC).

About BMSECE B.Com Course:-

B.Com(Commerce)- Stands for Bachelor of Commerce. Typically, B.Com is a three year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as accounts, maths and economics. Commerce consists of a broad range of interdisciplinary branches such as Marketing, Finance, E-Commerce, Accountancy, Business Administration and Economics. Subjects typically studied under this degree are Accounts, Economics, Business Law and Maths etc.

Admission Details of BMSECE Bangalore:-

The candidate shall have passed the second year Pre University or XII standard or equivalent examinations held preceding the entrance test with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects ,
along with one of the following subjects:- Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science, Biology,
Electronics and has secured not less than forty five (45%) percent of the aggregate marks in optional subjects with English as one of the language for admission to Engineering & Technology courses.
The following documents should be submitted at the time of admission.
    Copy of S.S.L.C / S.S.C (10th) Marks Card.
    Copy of P U C (10+2) Marks Card.
    Copy of Transfer Certificate.
    Copy of Physical fitness Certificate issued by an MBBS Doctor.
    Copy of Migration Certificate for Non-Karnataka Students.
    Caste Income along with Sindhuthwa Pramana Patra in respect of Karnataka Candidates only.
