Sri Siddhartha Education Society was
established in the year 1959 with the blessings from Saint Vinobha Bhave and
started in the year 1979 under the realm of Sri Siddhartha Education Society
(SSES), Tumkur. At present, the Institute runs 9 programmes in Bachelor of
Engineering (BE) and 7 Post Graduate programmes, Several Doctoral programmes
and Master of Computer Application with an annual intake of 836.
Sri Siddhartha Academy of Higher
Education was declared as Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC
Act, 1956.

Transportation Facilities:
The college provides transportation
facility for both students and staff. College bus facility from different parts
of the city is available.
Hostel Facilities:
The college has separate Boys and
Girls Hostels. A residential warden stays at the hostel to take care of the
needs of the students all the time. A 24 hours security is provided at the
hostel for the safety of the students.
