University Visvesvaraya College of
Engineering (UVCE) was established in the year 1917, under the name,
BharatRatna Sir M Visvesvaraya, and was affiliated to University of Mysore. The
college has completed 93 years of academic excellence since its inception. It
is the 5th Engineering College to be established in the country.
