RCOEM, situated in the heart of India in Nagpur city, was established in 1984 by Shri Ramdeobaba Sarvajanik Samiti, a trust which has been involved in community service for over four decades. 27 years of existence has helped RCOEM grow deep roots and establish a strong foundation in technical education. Journey of a student in this institute has always involved comprehensive knowledge building from practical skills, theoretical knowledge to personality development, which has given them a head-start in their career.

In the past decade the world has grown phenomenally in proximity leading to intense competition. Among various factors that give a country a competitive advantage, education and resulting knowledge economy is a key element. However, what adds to the knowledge economy is not only 'what one has' but also ‘how much one knows’. Globalization and the consequent high competition have also opened up new avenues of knowledge and opportunities of growth in the existing fields of education. Technology and management are two important fields that have seen vertical progression resulting in improved well-being of humans. Growth in technology has made lives simpler and easy, processing faster, decision making more accurate, luxuries affordable and all those things seem possible that remained inaccessible. Understanding the need for quality education with values, Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering and Management (RCOEM) started with a mission in 1984 and continues to achieve its goal, 29 years hence.
RCOEM has nine undergraduate engineering branches, various engineering and management post graduate branches, Basic Sciences, and Sports. It is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Government of Maharashtra and is permanently affiliated to Rashtra Sant Tukodoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU). RCOEM has been awarded an 'A' Grade by Govt. of Maharashtra. It has an ISO 9001:2008 certification for quality. The College has a large team of teaching staff with long experience in teaching, research, and industry. With educational qualifications and training from premier institutes of the world the faculty is well-equipped to ensure in-depth capacity building of the students. To further the quality of education, the College has forged ties with various universities of USA and UK for joint degree programmes, research activities, and sharing of best practices, innovative and creative concepts.
The process of education in our college does not restreict itself to curricular and co-curricular activities but goes beyond these activies to ensure all-round development of the students. The campus is vibrant with fun as it provides to the students various opportunities to showcase their academic, technical, cultural, and sports talents. There are various student-initiated clubs for environmental conservation, photography, music and others that help the students to pursue their interests.
Our aim is to impart the best of the knowledge and technical know-how to our students with a desire and ability to learn, lead and excel in order to make them responsible citizens.
