Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, Chennai, established in the year 1995 by MJF.Ln.Leo Muthu, Chairman of Sapthagiri Educational Trust, is non-profitable, and non-minority institution. The College is functioning at Sai Leo Nagar in a sprawling campus of 300 acres near the well-known fascinating Theme Park, "Kishkinta".

The college is set in rural, quiet and idyllic surroundings, the architecturally designed buildings with 25000 sq meters plinth area, the playgrounds and the green make it one of the most preferred destinations for the aspirants for Engineering studies.
Imbibed with the message of Shridi saibaba our chairman ventured into the realm of providing quality technical education to both urban and rural students from Tamilnadu as well as other states. Being a visionary, our chairman also has to his credit various other enterprises such as real estate, Industry and Educational Institutions.
Sri Sai Ram Institute Of Management and Computer Applications, also a unit of Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, was established in 1997 and it offers MBA and MCA programmes.He also ventured into the arena of medical sciences in Indian Medicine, by starting the medical college for Indian Medicine namely Siddha ,Ayurvedha &Homeopathy- all under one roof. He was also instrumental in starting “The Academy for Blind” and “Home for the aged” under the community service programmes of the Lions Club.

Our vision is based on hard work, open communication, a strong emphasis on team work and a high level of responsibility. This visionary culture allows and emphasises our wards not only to adopt the present day challenges but also individual responsibilities to the society and our nation at large.

Any engineering institution worth its name looks to optimize the productivity of global leaders. Our institution has set specific objectives and planned activities for achieving excellence in all spheres of technical education.

We strongly believe in academic excellence and do not compromise on teaching standards or discipline. These three things are the springboards on which we operate.
