"Sipna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal", established in the year 1995, aims at imparting higher & technical education to the people of the region. Since its inception, Sipna Shikshan Prasarak Mandal has been successfully running undergraduate and postgraduate courses in emerging areas through Sipna Arts and Science College, Chikhaldara, a remote hilly area known for its tribal and backward population. The aim behind this college and the courses is to provide need based contemporary education.
The college of Engineering & Technology was established in 1999 to provide quality professional & technical education to the students of the region and around seeking various undergraduate, postgraduate engineering courses, management & research programmes. These courses are approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. The institute is certified by ISO 9001:2008certification.

The College is celebrating its decade anniversary this year. Today when I look back it astonishes me and makes me believe that inspired sincere hard work with predetermined purpose can convert ones dreams into reality, the dreams of viewing this has a model, progressing and enviable institute.
I never meant institution as delivery of theoretical and practical academic syllabus prescribed knowledge only. I meant institution as an entity molding a student formidably through enabling the student to tackle and overcome any difficulty that comes across in all walks of life as a human being.
Sipna’s College of Engineering & Technology has a glorious history of 10 years during which it has grown and developed in to distinguished institute of technical education and research. All ingredients o f the institution have established, nourished and maintained its high standard and grand traditions over the years. I feel immensely pleased about the progress of the institute and confident that the institute will achieve excellence in education and research.
The college is focused on its vision and the strategies for carrying it out for the socio-economic development of the industrially backward district of Amravati in particular and the state of Maharashtra in general.
