About The Faculty of Engineering and Technology(FET), Kolkata:-

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET-JU), Jadavpur University, Kolkata is a constituent of Jadavpur University, which was established in 1955. It is a well-established institute in Kolkata, West Bengal, known for its quality technical education.
Welcome to the Faculty of Engineering Technology (CTW), one of the six University of Twente's faculties. CTW combines Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Industrial Design Engineering. Our faculty has approximately 1800 bachelor's and master's students, 300 employees and 150 PhD candidates. The faculty is organized in a matrix: the departments cooperatively conduct the educational programmes and participate in interdisciplinary research projects, programmes and the following research institutes: MIRA, CTIT and IGS.

Admission Details of FET Kolkata:-

The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognised board.
Admission to all B.Tech Courses is through WBJEE/AIEEE only.
Admission to B.Sc. in Nautical Science is direct and merit based. The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 examinations from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Admission to the M.Tech course is direct and selection is merit based.
Seat allotments to students in every college are made by Central Selection Committee through counseling sessions organised by them.
