Hi-Point College of Engineering & Technology, Hyderabad run by the Hi-Point Educational Society. The college has been affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The College runs four year Engineering Degree courses, Computer Science Engg, Information Technology, Electronic Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering.The college has a main building area of 2370 sq.metre and two other East & West Wings each of 3376 Sq.metre. The Floor area is more than 35000 Sq. ft in each building. HPCET Chairman Message :-

He had early education at Madrase Aliya and Nizam College at Hyderabad and took B.Sc. Civil Engineering Degree from College of Engg. & Technology Muslim University Aligarh in the year 1954. Appointed directly as Assistant Engineer, P.W.D. by the Hyderabad State Public Service commission in the year 1955.Worked as Chief Engineer, PWD (buildings) in the year 1984 and Engg-in-Chief (R&B) & Administration from 1989 to 1991.He has got to his credit construction of prestigious building such as A.P. Assembly Buildings. A.P Secretariat Blocks, Extension of A.P. High Court at Hyderabad, several hospitals, Campus and other Institute buildings, Roads and Bridges on N.H.7 and state roads. Worked as member of Disaster Management Group of N.B.O, New Delhi and Member Research Adv. Committee of Central Buildings Research Institute, Roorke, India.He is serving as a chairman of Hi-Point Educational Society.

About HPCET M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field. ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.

The Bachelor of Engineering commonly abbreviated as (B.Eng) is an undergraduate academic degree awarded to a student after three to five years of studying engineering at university or college.B.E/B.Tech Includes
