Success can not be achieved overnight. It requires deep penetration, persistence and hard labour. We, the management and staff, are collectively putting the best of our efforts to achieve excellence in the field of education. The sacred flame lit by the Goddess of Education shall remain burning in our hearts, spreading the glow of knowledge. Let us follow the path paved by Maa Saraswati, the divine soul, and strive hard to make our dreams come true. For quite some time, I was thinking of putting my extensive experience and knowledge into use for the benefit of society and this became a reality after the launch of a charitable trust in the name of Maa Saraswati Educational Trust. My dream was to guide the youth of this region to excel in the field of education. The whole world is looking at India for providing trained manpower. The quality of training of today’s youth who will get placements in the international market will reflect on the commitment of India to maintain the standard of education for ensuring continuous placement avenues.
This region was lacking in sufficient infrastructure for quality education in the area of IT, Law, and Health. It was observed that the existing institutions lacked commitment and leadership to guide young minds to acquire the necessary knowledge and talent which is necessary in today’s competitive market.
In order to remove some of these barriers, what was needed was a conductive environment for learning along with state of art infrastructure, thus the priority was to locate a place which is eco-friendly and well connected by roads and rails. Another priority area was to ensure that everybody irrespective of social and economic status gets an opportunity for quality education. These barriers have been taken care of and a group of professional institutions of excellence have come up in the form of Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions (HGPI).
Education is the cornerstone of economic development and prosperity. Technical and professional education is affecting all aspects of life. To use technology effectively for economic growth, the Himalayan Group of Professional Institutions, under the auspices of its trust, Maa Saraswati Educational Trust (Regd.), has set up nine professional technical institutions and many more are likely to come up very soon. We are confident that these institutions shall help in creating quality professionals, and citizens capable of assisting in making India a developed nation, and ultimately contributing towards improving the quality of life of our people.
