MIET Principal Message :-

The growth and prosperity of science and technology can never be interrupted under any situation of mundane affairs, be it world economy, natural calamity, war or any such. To carry forward the flag of science and technology, it essentially requires skilled, knowledgeable and focused Engineers and Technologists. As a matter of fact, such personalities can only be groomed in an educational institution having proper standard and facilities. With such a noble vision in heart, Badal Deb Memorial Educational Foundation has set up Modern Institute of Engineering and Technology in the year 2010, a Degree Engineering College, which is approved by All India Council of Technical education (AICTE), affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) and recognized by Department of Higher Education, Government of West Bengal. Presently the college runs 4-years integrated full-time B. Tech. undergraduate courses in: (1) Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), (2) Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), (3) Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE), (4) Civil Engineering (CE), (5) Electrical Engineering (EE) and (6) Mechanical Engineering (ME).The single-minded aim of the founder-members was to create a benchmark institute of international standard and also to make every scholar from this institute a front-runner and noteworthy participant in the continuous global process called “Human Progress”. Actually, we want to build in our college “good Human beings” and “good Indian Citizens” first and then “good Engineers” obviously.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a bachelor's degree in commerce and business administration.Typically it is a 3 year course, BBA program usually includes general business courses and advanced courses for specific concentrations.BBM/BBA programs thus expose students to a variety of "core subjects" and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area.The degree also develops the student's practical managerial skills, communication skills and business decision-making capability.

About MIET M.E/M.Tech Course :-

Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere. If someone wants to carry out the thesis work in a company, or at some other educational institution, it is allowed by the Institute.The scope of the course varies from material research to machinery development, Nano Technology, Smart materials, Aerospace Technology, Missiles technology, CAD/CAM, FMS, CIM, Automation and such other interrelated developments.
