Mugneeram Bangur Memorial Engineering College, Jodhpur which is also known as MBM Engineering College, came into existence in 1951, when it was formed by the Government of India. In 1962, the college became a constituent Faculty of Engineering of Jodhpur University (now known as Jai Narain Vyas University). The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and affiliated to Jai Narain Vyas University.Mugneeram Bangur Memorial Engineering College conducts undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in the field of engineering. Master of Engineering or Master of Technology or Master of Science in Technology or Master of Engineering degree is a postgraduate program in engineering or technology field.ME/MTech degree program exposes students to a wide range of courses, combined with specialized research which culminates in a thesis. Such a combination gives students the breadth and depth necessary for pursuing careers in academics as well as industry.The residence requirements for ME/MTech program is four semesters. However, it is possible to get permission to spend one semester elsewhere.
